I was lucky enough to work in a gorgeous bohemian apartment with David yesterday in Shropshire, complimented with his exquisite wardrobe of garments that has helped create by far some of the best fashion work I’ve done yet. David is an amazing photographer and probably one of the best I’ve ever worked with - his attention to detail and artistic vision in his photography was quite honestly inspiring. He is a lovely guy to work with and I felt completely at ease and comfortable in his company from start to end of our shoot. Great sense of humour with a very laidback and relaxed style of shooting which made the shoot very enjoyable. He also makes a great chicken salad sandwich 😋😁. I highly recommend David to any model interested in working with him.

I shot with Dave a few weeks ago and have recently been able to look at the photos and they ended up amazing!! This isn’t surprising as we had the pleasure of shooting in a really cool house which meant we could get super creative. Dave had some incredible clothes that he styled me in which really brought the pictures together.
Throughout the shoot Dave made me feel comfortable and relaxed, keeping it professional but also fun and laid- back.
Dave is one of the best photographers i’ve worked with and can’t wait to shoot with him again!

I loved shooting with Dave, he is such a professional and has a wonderful eye for fashion, light and mood.
He was great at giving direction and making me feel totally comfortable so we could get the best shots.
The clothes were gorgeous and really worked well with the location and the feel of the shoot. He gave a really good brief for what he was after and I am so happy with how the shots came out.

That's right, I dont. I'm on some platforms like Instagram but I no longer invest any time in it.
It is toxic. It is killing the minds of young people and stealing their precious time on this planet.
It is largely disingenuous and social media absolutely ruins artistic value. Look up the IG account of Banksy. 13.3 million followers. He follows no one.
I do see it's advantages in self promotion but that's not something I'm chasing. Sometimes, I don't even publish my photography. I strongly believe in the value of print. It is real, hang a print on a wall and you will enjoy it in a way that no screen can ever compete with.

Great fashion photography is the perfect fusion of
class, aesthetics, light, colour, texture and a hint of 'je ne sais quoi'.
I was a very good wedding photographer for well over 10+ years and have loved many types of photography for 20 years before that but my real passion is fashion photography. The wedding industry needs a complete over-haul, a refresh and nearly all wedding photographers would agree but not openly say.
I choose everything you see in the images. Im under no pressure to hit commercial dead-lines or design briefs, this is my time off from the day job so the vibe is very relaxed and I hope that shows.

Old people see the natural beauty they had on old photographs, but like a lot of young people today, they didn't see it at the time.
It's wiping out the precious years of millions of young people. The zombie apocalypse is here, humans cranking their heads down 90 degrees, mentally lost in a phone screen looking at endless nonsense, chasing Likes.
And me? Like my photography? Great. Think it's garbage? Great.
Invest time being present and enjoying life without the need to feel pressured into telling everyone what you have done. The world has forgotten the importance of privacy. I dont chase Likes or traffic data. I just enjoy what I do.
Social Media
Firstly, look at my Advice & Guidelines page. I try hard to create a very laid back vibe. I really don't shoot high energy, nervy, tense styles of photography. I actually find that type of photography uncomfortable to look at.
The emphasis is on capturing a natural, chilled atmosphere that oozes subtle, womanly confidence. I tend to lead the way just to set the style of posing and vibe but then you [the model] are welcome to free style a whole range of poses but keeping in with that relaxed/ confident aesthetic.
I will do my best to show a model what type of pose it is that I'm after but they must promise not to laugh at my middle aged pathetic form! I won't do any pose the justice it deserves but you can take that instruction and add the finesse and professionalism. Its a method that seems to work.
